MEBA has targeted the development of the successful MEBAeco series and launched a facelift of the MEBA Eco 335 DGA-1000 double mitring CNC automatic bandsaw machine.
MEBA’s patented and proven double-mitre system is part of the facelift for the versatile automatic cutting machine with supplemented new features and a new control option. This new control can be networked and offers various optional packages, such as the teleservice for remote maintenance, the setting of sawing programs in the AV or the import of sawing programs from CAD with DSTV interface and data export bringing Meba’s commitment to digitalising their sawing range under their MEBA Connect program.
The MEBA Connect is the concept for the digitalising and intelligence of sawing networks within the MEBA saw range. MEBA Connect means intelligent data transfer or even a material database for automatic recognition of cutting parameters through material dimensioning, material shape and material selection.
Part of the MEBA program for many years is MEBA Tel which is the Teleservice which has access to all machine states and components. As one of the highlights of MEBA Connect, this MEBA Tel service has evolved significantly into a highly effective global online diagnostics system with remote maintenance access. The immediate remote access as well as the fast troubleshooting and problem solving drastically increases the availability of powerful sawing machines and systems. In consequence, this means nothing less than a significant cost reduction. Secured communication takes place via the compact industrial router. The customer retains sovereignty over the remote access to his saw via a physical VPN switch on the device. The data exchange is fast, optionally via Internet connection with network, mobile or WLAN.
Many programs can be easily created and managed with the MEBA control. With a “Windows CE” system the controls are very user-friendly and are equipped with a robust panel controller with touch screen enabling the operator to go through the menu and program for automatic cutting at any length and quantity.
Another important component of MEBA Connect is the MEBA NC server. It is reliable and ensures material optimisation, time savings as well as documenting the program. For example, the MEBA NC-Server connects the customer’s existing production planning systems with the machine and thus offers material optimization, the so-called nesting.
