Machine Description

The MEP Shark 512 SXI EVO semi-automatic bandsaw designed for precision cutting of tubes, profiles, and beams in fabrication, engineering, and industrial workshops.

Built with robust cast iron construction, this versatile bandsaw delivers stable, accurate cuts with long blade life, and offers miter cutting from –60° to +60° and a cutting capacity of up to 510mm x 320mm, making it ideal for complex angle cutting tasks on structural steel and sections.

The Shark 512 SXI EVO features an intuitive operator console on an articulated arm, easy-to-use controls, and an LCD display for real-time machine status. Hydraulic vice and head feed systems ensure consistent cutting pressure, while an electronic inverter allows variable blade speed from 15–100 m/min, accommodating a wide range of metalwork requirements.

Designed for efficiency and safety, the saw includes chip and coolant recovery, a rotating cutting table with engraved scales, and a large vice opening up to 515 mm, supporting large sections up to 510 × 320 mm at 0°.

Whether used for standard straight cuts or demanding miter work, the MEP Shark 512 SXI EVO delivers reliable, high-performance cutting for modern metalworking operations.

  • Large rotating cutting table on central pin and roller thrust bearing for smooth rotation at any angle adjustment
  • Angle scale is engraved on turning table to perform precise cuts to tolerance
  • Hydraulic down‑feed and vice control system provides consistent cutting pressure and secure clamping.
  • Vector inverter with variable blade speed (15–100 m/min) for cutting a wide range of metals.
  • Hardened steel replaceable wear plates on the working surface for durability and stability.
  • Integrated chip and coolant management with removable chip drawer and coolant recovery for clean working conditions.
  • Bar support roller on linear guide for easy movement and safe handling at full cutting angles.
  • Quick release clamping system allows to manually open/close the vice easily
